Location and Schedule
This is a remote position. Normal operating hours are M-F, 8:30AM-4:30PM (CST). NCFH, Inc. is largely a remote working environment apart from specific positions that require a hybrid schedule and commute to our home office.

Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of local, state, and national projects aimed at preventing and mitigating the effects of infectious disease among farmworkers in agricultural communities in the U.S. The goal of the position is to launch high-level, aligned, and effective involvement of subcontracted partners and work with those partners to build their connections to other synergistic partners who can help them successfully achieve their project objectives.

Qualifications, Education and Licensing/Certification
Required:
  • A professional level of knowledge in public health, public policy, agriculture or agricultural education, social sciences, communication, or related field at the educational/experiential equivalent of a bachelor’s degree
  • Three-five (3-5) years of experience in building and maintaining positive community partnerships and experience in working effectively with and understanding the needs of culturally and ethnically diverse populations
  • Must have professional fluency in both English and Spanish
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills, experience with MS Office applications, strong organizational skills, and ability to work with multiple tasks
  • Must have a strong knowledge of rural communities, farmworkers, and the agricultural industry

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner portfolio management
    • Local demonstration project portfolio management
      • Creates scope of work, budget guidance, and informational sessions for potential subcontractors for local demonstration projects aimed at increasing education of adult vaccinations and supporting uptake of adult vaccinations among farmworkers and their family members
      • Works with National Outreach Services Manager to onboard subcontractors; leads ongoing communications and support to those subcontractors
      • Collaborates with Evaluation team to ensure reporting and documentation of portfolio impact are completed; conducts site visits to subcontractors as needed.
    • National network engagement portfolio management
      • Manages relationships and accountability with 3-5 subcontracted national organizations that provide network engagement services to NCFH
      • Collaborates with Evaluation team to ensure reporting and documentation of portfolio impact are completed; responds to funder requests for impact data as needed
    • Support/collaborate with other NCFH subcontracted partners & NCFH portfolios
      • Collaborates with other members of National Outreach Services team and other NCFH teams as appropriate to coordinate and support NCFH communications and efforts with other subcontracted partners
      • Regularly participates in leading quarterly check-ins with NCFH subcontractors and plans peer-to-peer learning opportunities
  • Partner capacity building
    • Collaborates with the Director of Research and Public Health Programs and the National Outreach Services to manager to maintain and creates high quality partner relationships through:
      • program consultation, training, and technical support
      • assisting with navigating online resources or data tools and providing connections to additional resources
      • developing new resources to best support partner needs 
    • Uses data to strategically support current partners and determine where to direct attention and resources
    • Manages timely communication and facilitates sharing of ideas and best practices via email, phone, internet, and other means to organization partners and other constituents

Other
  • Participates in NCFH Committees as appropriate
  • Conducts project-related presentations on webinars, at conferences, and through other venues as needed.

Nature and Method of Work
Work is professional-level, requiring an understanding of application of professional theory and practices. Duties are generally performed independently, with priorities and work plans developed by the employee's manager and monitored periodically. Communication with individuals in response to requests is extensive. The impact of the employee's work on the overall performance of NCFH may affect a large segment of the business and goodwill of the organization.

Physical Ability and Work Environment
The employee is regularly required to perform work duties at an onsite office/designated home workspace and in community settings for extended periods of time. The employee must have the ability to use a computer and other office tools with accuracy. The noise level is usually low to moderate.



Leadership and Supervision
Employee receives direct supervision from the National Outreach Services Manager. Employee does not provide direction to other staff.

Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years of age.
